全新安裝 Windows XP with SP3 無法利用 Windows Update 網頁更新的解決辦法

最近全新安裝 Windows XP with SP3 時
會發生無法利用 Windows Update 網頁更新的問題
連到 Windows Update 網站的時候會顯示 Error number: 0x8024D001 的錯誤

解決辦法:
1. 安裝 Windows Update Agent 3.0
2. 更新 IE 至 IE8

先到微軟 Technet 網頁參考這篇文章 How to Install the Windows Update Agent on Client Computers
下載 Windows Update Agent version 3.0 並存到剛裝好的 Windows XP with SP3 電腦中
比如存在 C:\

然後執行並帶上 /wuforce 參數:
C:\WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe /wuforce

完畢後更新 IE 至 IE8
IE8 可在微軟網站這裡下載

完畢後重開機再連 Windows Update 網站
並依照網頁上要求安裝一個更新元件後就可以繼續更新了
